Ex-BNP man jailed over chemicals

Ex-BNP man jailed over chemicals
Another link on this (during trial)

I am posting this, as the media coverage of this news is so minimal. Is it because he does not have a Muslim name?

Some details for future reference in case link above does not work in future.
The person's name is Robert Cottage, Lancashire.Manchester Crown Court.
He was cleared after two trials, of conspiracy to cause explosions.
Dentist David Jackson (62 years) was also cleared.

In spite of there being two trials on two people, there has been very little news coverage of this!

Doing a Google on 'Robert Cottage' brings up some interesting links. I like this one the best.

To the point commentary from Islamophobia Watch

Teenager reverts to Islam in our locality over the Internet

Masha Allah !

About two weeks ago, an English teenager came to the mosque to profess her Islam.

She had learnt about Islam over the internet. Even learnt how to pray, wudu etc all over the Internet.

The Muslim she was communicating with, then asked her to go to her nearest local mosque to say the Shahaadah. So she came to our mosque.

Allahuakbar!

In this day and age of Islam bashing, this is amazing!

People reverting to Islam without Muslims present

I am increasingly hearing about people reverting to Islam in the absence of any Muslims.

Here is a link to the story of a Czech scientist.

Given that Muslims do not exactly present the best view of Islam, this is an interesting development. It shows how Allah does not need us to spread his Deen but that it is a blessing from Allah to us if HE uses us a medium for others to embrace Islam.

Intercession - an important note

A lot of people think that intercession on Yaum-al Qiyamah will mean automatic forgiveness.

Please remember the hadith about Ibrahim (alayhis salaam) intercession for his father on Yaum-al Qiyamah. Remember that Ibrahim (alayhis salaam) is the Khalil of Allah, for which beloved is not even a close translation, it is much more than that. His intercession for his father was not accepted by Allah.

The point is that the one being interceded for has to be worthy of forgiveness. Those hoping for intercession should remember this.
