Suarh 6 Verse 150
They are asked to bring their proof of the forbidding of the foods they mention.
We are then warned not to follow those
treat our signs as falsehoods, and such as believe not in the Hereafter: for they hold others as equal with their Guardian-Lord (Yusuf Ali translation)
The arabic used is 'Hawaa', can mean fall in love or fall for an argument. This describes the present day situation very clearly as well. How many of us are 'convinced' to follow their desires? I pray Allah protect us all from this!
