About Surah 6 Verse 142
here following in steps of Shaytan, is explained in next verses, why make haram what is halal. Why say cannot eat this and not that?
Why say 'Allah said this and that'?
in verse 143 and 144 Allah asks them where is your proof for these injunctions?
This also reminds us not to simply accept things just because so and so is saying it. If it is something we have not heard before, then politely ask the proof of this, from Quran and Sunnah, authentic Sunnah.
